It’s nearly impossible to find the right words to describe this particular trip, the connections with everyone, the soul connections with the beautiful whales, and the amazing way Steph greets every single one of the guests like her besties and runs the week. My adventure swimming with the whales in Tonga with OceanZen Travel is an experience I will never forget. 🐋💙 From the very first moment, it was so much more than just swimming with whales. It was about being completely present, slowing down, and appreciating the incredible moments happening right in front of me. Being in the water with these beautiful, magnificent creatures was truly humbling. There were moments where I just stopped, took it all in and thought, wow… I’m actually here! 🌊🐋 This adventure has reminded me to appreciate living in the moment and to take life as it comes — to worry a little less about what’s next and enjoy where I am right now. And one of the unexpected highlights was meeting some absolutely amazing women along the way. Steph has a way to curate the most amazing solo-traveling women onto her trips. Our trip was filled with people who did and did not know each other and of all ages. There was a fun and respectful vibe, all appreciating what each person brought to the trip - energy, personality, wisdom, humor, etc. The trip was full of action and time for rest. Our trips out to see the Whale Sharks were very organized and timely. The longer trip to Coral Bay was also well-executed and coordinated. The accommodation was really nice and well-suited for the trip. Steph puts on an amazing breakfast, not to be missed. Steph has an amazing energy that she keeps even until the final goodbye, genuinely connecting with each guest. I had the most memorable experience. I felt welcomed, accepted and challenged. I trusted the process and I don't have a single regret, one one...it is over. If I have an opportunity to fulfill another bucket list and Steph is offering a trip to complete it, I am on that trip! Mexico was amazing! The trip was (as always) so well planned. The guides were absolutely fantastic, the food and cocktails were sooo delicious, but above all else the girls on the trip were just beautiful. Everyone that comes on an OceanZen trip just has this beautiful mindset of wanting to meet new people, wanting to explore and be adventurous and if plans need to change (because thats just what happens when travelling) then they just go with the flow. Everyone is welcoming, kind, fun, excited and enthusiastic. Steph is a master creator of these trips and is just the most beautiful person, she oozes enthusiasm and kindness. You know you are in great hands when you go on an OceanZen trip. Steph puts her heart and soul into her trips and you can feel it. We did 5 boat days in the Sea of Cortez searching for the most beautiful wildlife. We had an incredible time! We swam with fevers of hundreds (if not thousands) of Mobula rays, Oceanic Mobula rays, Mobula mating trains, huge pods of dolphins, sea lions, puffer fish, turtles. We saw flying tortillas, jumping marlin, jumping thresher shark, humpbacks, bryde whales and skip jack tuna and a whole host of other animals. This was such a beautiful experience. It is an expedition trip, not for the faint hearted, but for those who are called to get out of their comfort zone and seek adventure! If you're thinking of booking this trip or another OceanZen trip... JUST DO IT. You will get addicted and you won't stop at one trip. These trips are absolute bucket list once in a lifetime trips. You will never regret booking with Steph! You will feel all of the emotions and want to book your next trip with her before you even get home. Do the thing, book it!!!
